The former Chief Press Secretary to Igueben Local Govt, Comrade Patrick Enemiye, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Barr. Kenneth Ihensekhien (PhD) on his nomination as commissioner by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo.

Comrade Enemiye described the nomination as well-deserved, noting that Barr. Ihensekhien’s wealth of experience, dedication to service, and commitment to the development of Edo State make him a perfect fit for the position.

The former council spokesman, however, expressed confidence that Barr. Ihensekhien will bring his expertise and passion for progress to bear in the discharge of his duties when confirmed.

He further noted that the appointment reflects the governor’s commitment to selecting competent hands who can help drive his administration’s agenda for growth and sustainable development. According to him, the people of Edo State can look forward to impactful policies and innovative solutions under Barr. Ihensekhien’s stewardship.

Comrade Enemiye also called on stakeholders and citizens to give Barr Ihensekhien, maximum support, urging unity and collaboration to ensure the success of the incoming commissioner in delivering on his mandate. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
