APC Records Overwhelming Victory as Hon. Inegbeboh Delivers Polling Units and Ward for Ikpea.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded an overwhelming victory in the Edo Central senatorial bye-election, with Hon. Ojie Eugene Inegbeboh, member representing Igueben Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, delivering both his polling unit and ward for the party’s candidate, Hon. Joseph Ikpea.

Inegbeboh’s strong grassroots mobilization and political influence played a decisive role in the outcome, as the APC swept through his constituency, defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate by wide margins.

Official results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) showed the APC polling 191 votes against the PDP’s single vote at Unit 1. At the ward level, the APC further consolidated its dominance, securing 637 votes, while the PDP managed only 58 votes.

The victory has been described by party supporters as a clear demonstration of the APC’s growing strength in Edo Central and a major boost to Ikpea’s candidacy. Observers also noted that Inegbeboh’s performance underscores his influence within the constituency and his ability to rally support for the party at the grassroots level.
