The member representing Igueben Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ojie Eugene Inegbeboh, has congratulated Hon. Joseph Ikpea on his victory in the Edo Central senatorial bye-election.
 
In a goodwill message, Inegbeboh described Ikpea’s triumph as well-deserved, noting that it reflects the overwhelming support and confidence of the people in his leadership capacity. He praised the resilience of the electorate and commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) family for their unity and commitment to the party’s success.
 
Inegbeboh further expressed confidence that Ikpea will bring quality representation to Edo Central, advancing the interests of his constituents and contributing to the progress of the state and nation at large. He pledged his continued support and collaboration with the new senator elect in driving development to Esan land.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo said he has kick-started the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
