Chief Aluede Lauds Okpebholo's Shine Agenda Initiatives.
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Esan land and the Ameze of Igueben Kingdom, Chief Ambassador Tessy Aluede, has described the Shine Agenda initiative of Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration as a critical political strategy that is capable of elevating Edo State to an enviable reckoning.

Speaking in Igueben, the administrative headquarters of Igueben LGA, Chief Aluede urged the all well-meaning Edolites to continue to support Edo State government policies under the leadership of His Excellency Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo.

According to her, Governor Okpebholo’s Shine Agenda is real. Adding that, administration came at a time when the people of Edo needed a focused leadership to steer the ship of the state towards practical governance.

She said that such a role deserve a commendation from the people of Edo State, she therefore, emphasised the need for unity of purpose to strengthen the state.

She reiterated her commitment and support for Governor Monday Okpebholo's leadership, for the interest of the state.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo said he has kick-started the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
