GROUP DRUMS SUPPORT FOR SIR OSEREME OMOFOMA AS EDO CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT BY-ELECTION DRAWS CLOSE.
The Esan Organic Group under the auspices of The Esan Patriots, has called on Sir Engr. Osereme Christen Omofoma to contest in the forthcoming By-Election 

The Group, comprising of Professors, Directors, Engineers, Lawyers, Philanthropists and seasoned Politicians of Edo Central Origin, unanimously hold together their unwavering support for him and with one voice agree: "That he, Sir Engr. Christen Osereme Omofoma is without any shadow or cloud of doubts the right man for the Senate Job"

In a statement signed by its General Secretary, Engr. Odianosen Osearewo, made available to pressmen in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Headquarters of Edo State on Monday the 10th th of February 2025, the Group said: "Sir. Engr. Osereme Christen Omofoma has all it takes to take Edo Central Senatorial District to the next level". This reality is largely shared by the people. 

The insightful and seasoned Engr. Odianosen Osearewo, known to be a sure leader, further clearly pointed out that: "A smart and good governance oriented person like Sir. Osereme Christen Omofoma cannot be compared to others because his distinctiveness defies any standard".

The people's comments that followed his statement all said Hon. Engr. Christen Osereme Omofoma is the sure candidate for the Senate Office in the Edo Central Senatorial District By-Election that will be holding soon.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo said he has kick-started the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The Governor disclosed this when he received another member of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), who had defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
