On behalf of my family and my constituency, the good people of Igueben Local Government Area, I, Hon. Barr Kingsley Omiyi Ehigiamusor, do hereby proudly identify with our extraordinary Governor of Edo State, Sen Monday Okpebholo, who is making us proud. Indeed tomorrow is not just here but visibly here. I want to salute your courage of matching your words with actions in this 100 days in office.

Your Excellency, It is my singular honour and privilege to commend you strongly for not just the humongous decentralization of development apparatus in Edo State but the consistency, resiliency, transparency and inclusiveness inherent in the actualization.

Your irresistible courage of development spurred you to dare and wrestle with the hitherto pitiable condition of the Edo people occasioned by insecurity and infrastructural decay. You have deployed every machinery to demystify the unfounded belief that it is impossible to address.

In this 100 days,Your Excellency, you have mapped out good numbers of projects through which the peace loving people of Edo State shall found succour and enjoy the benefits of the social contract entered in electing you as their Governor. You have also designed clear paths and means of actualizing them.

Congratulations in your epoch making and achievement focused in this past 100 days in office and beyond.

2027 : GOV OKPEBHOLO KICKSTARTS CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT TINUBU’S RE-ELECTION IN EDO . Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo said he has kick-started the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. The Governor disclosed this when he received another member of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), who had defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State. The defector and member House Committee on Budget and Appropriation, Hon. Kaycee Osamwonyi represents Uhunmwonde State Constituency. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
