A formidable and foremost
socio-political youth group, in Edo State, Esan Youth Vanguard, EYV, has on Sunday, hailed Igueben Kingdom over recognition and conferment of chieftaincy title on Mrs Tessy Aluede, as Amenze Of Igueben. 

This was contained in a congratulatory message by the group founder and former Chief press secretary to Igueben Local Govt Council, Comrade Patrick Enemiye, where the group hailed the wisdom of the traditional ruler of Igueben Kingdom for the honour done their daughter, Mrs Aluede.

The statement described it as well deserved and pointed that Mrs Tessy Aluede has been a patriotic and philanthropist of Igueben and her selfless service and love for the people of Igueben and beyond has been amazing.

Comrade Enemiye, added that Mrs Tessy Aluede, has distinguished herself as patriotic, dedicated, committed and courageous woman and whose humanitarian and philanthropist lifestyle is worthy of emulation.

"Indeed, you have shown dynamism, focus, efficiency and candour in your way. Your purposeful leadership, steadfastness, ingenuity and genuine commitment to the welfare of everyone around you", Enemiye said.

Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo said he has kick-started the campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Edo election : Tenebe alerts security agencies of ‘planned protest by PDP supporters’ in Abuja The All Progressives Congress (APC) has alerted security agencies about a planned protest by supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to “influence” proceedings at the Edo governorship election petition tribunal. The demonstration is reportedly scheduled for Tuesday in Abuja. A statement on Monday by Jarrett Tenebe, the APC chairman in Edo state, urged security operatives to remain vigilant and take necessary measures to prevent a potential disruption at the attorney-general’s office by the protesters. Tenebe asked men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Army to be on the watch over the situation. His words, “The disruption allegedly aims to influence the ongoing Edo State Governorship tribunal”, Tenebe said. He added that the ruling party will not tolerate any attempt to compromise the judicial process or disrupt the peace.
